This annual event is very near and dear to our hearts, bringing lots of fun and smiles to many in our community each year, only made possible because of your direct support. Nearly $10,000 each year has been raised that has helped spread awareness for Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) in the form of direct outreach such as Scholarships, Toy Drives for children in local hospitals, funding organizations that search for a cure to CHD, and much more. Our efforts continue as these events each year are only made possible because of your help.

We are looking for vendors once again to setup for the craft fair. Year after year bringing our local vendors has been a fun addition to such a unique variety of different items from our communities. Join us by filling out the form and sending it back no later than May 18th, 2024 with signup payments also due.

Dreams from the
Heart Camp ʚɞ

“Camp is where scars are forgotten, memories are made.”

We were honored to be part of this years Heart Camp, an annual camp outage for children born with Congenital Heart Disease. Funds that were raised from our annual HeartRaiser event helped generously support $1,000 towards Dreams From the Heart Camp!

Dreams from the Heart Camp provides a structured and supervised recreational outlet for children with complex heart disease. Many of these children are unable to attend other camps due to the complexity of their physical and medical needs. Dreams from the Heart Camp provides an environment that allows these children to build self-confidence. The camp also provides an unencumbered forum for these children to ask questions of the medical team that might otherwise not surface in an intimidating medical office.

Snow Sculptures
❆❆❆for❆❆❆
Golisano Children's Hospital

During National Heart Month and Annual #CHDAwareness Week,
Hearts for Isabella teamed up with Eric Jones this weekend to create a special snow sculpture for all the children of Golisano Children's Hospital of Rochester to watch from the comfort of their rooms for Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) Awareness week. CHD is the most common birth defect, affecting 1 in every 100 children born. We hope this brought so many smiles to the children of GCH and helps spread more awareness about CHD and Isabella’s impact with the world to help so many of those affected and in the hospital.

As Isabella's parents, we're so proud and honored to work with such talented and amazing people to put together such an event for these children. Our hearts are so full.

We couldn't have pulled all this off with our community's support. We'd like to give special thanks to Shamrock Paving of Rochester that helped deliver snow collected from Scottsville Ice Rink Arena of Rochester. Special thanks to our volunteers that dressed up in costumes that made for lots of smiles. Lastly, biggest of thanks to Eric Jones that sculpted this awesome Mike and Sully with a "CHD" heart. Eric is a world famous talented artist in the local area and collaborated with our organization to do something big and colorful for the children to enjoy.

Eric Jones quote ”What an honor to be able to create this snow sculpture for Hearts for Isabella. With dozens of kids, families and nurses watching from the hospital windows, it’s helps remind me of how blessed I am. My daughter is about to graduate with her masters degree is a CHD survivor. I hope my artwork brings a smile to the faces of these tiny warriors. Keep fighting! “

The Hearts For Isabella Memorial #CHD Scholarship Award was established to honor the memory of Isabella Annelise Dombrowski, who on February 3rd of 2020, lost her life to complications of open heart surgery after being born with only half a heart at only 3 months old.

A scholarship is pledged from Hearts For Isabella, Inc which is a 501(c) Non-Profit Organization made to honor Isabella’s legacy and also to raise awareness of Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), a life-long diagnosis.

To receive this scholarship, candidates must be specifically connected to the heart community in the innermost form based on a medical diagnosis of CHD themselves and/or specific involvement of Cardiac Pediatrics advancements in education practices.

With his direct connection to the heart community as a local surviving heart warrior, in addition to his continued service as a volunteer firefighter and dreams to become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), we are incredibly honored to bestow the first Hearts For Isabella Memorial Scholarship Award to Mr. Conner Scutt of Portville Central School (PCS).

Despite the life-long challenges of CHD, Conner’s bravery inspires and exemplifies success to everyone he meets, proving any hurdle can be overcome with dedication and courage. We would like to graciously share our highest appreciation to Conner for his brave community service and equally hope that this scholarship fund in the amount of $1,000.00 will support these valiant career advancements which directly supports our local communities in such impactful ways.

Thank you Conner. You are a living miracle of what it is to beat CHD every single day. Your selfless heart carries the highest strength that inspires us all. Keep fighting and beating the odds! We’re so thankful and proud to be connected to your journey so closely

We will be communicating more on how you can help contribute to future annual scholarships for the heart children in our local areas.

$5,000 to
Children's Heart Foundation

In July of 2022 we hosted the biggest ‘HeartRaiser’ for Congenital Heart Disease awareness our area has ever seen, helping to raise over $10,000! We truly couldn’t have done it without our communities support to make it for such a beautiful day of giving.

From all these efforts, Hearts for Isabella was able to donate $5,000 to the The Children's Heart Foundation which leads collaborative efforts in advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects (CHDs) with the most promising research.

Over the last 26 years CHF has helped collaboratively fund
155 research projects and $16 million dollars towards scientific collaborations helping to drive breakthroughs that have improved survival rates, longevity, and quality of life for individuals living with CHDs in dramatic and life-changing ways. We are so proud to help be part of this mission towards a day without CHD.

Thank you again to everyone that has helped make this happen. We truly could not have gotten here without all your generous support for Isabella and our collaborative missions.

Isabella's 2022 Holiday CHD Toy Drive

With the help of our communities and the fundraiser dinner held this past November, a total of $1,698 was raised to help buy toys for children currently receiving care at Golisano Children's Hospital Rochester.

Collections and purchases of over
500 toys for children age ranging from newborn to 10+ years old allowing for a full holiday of toys to 82 children in the hospital.

We truly could not have done this without our family, friends, and our wonderful community in the Olean, Bolivar, Corning, Painted Post, Horseheads, Sayre PA area. The collaboration of so many amazing people made for a huge impact beyond what we expected in Isabella's name to bring smiles and joy to those that need it most.
